What are winter bags? Glad you asked.
Winter bags are our winter project that follows Project Christmas Comfort. We collect and purchase knit hats, gloves, socks, scarfs, travel size toiletries, hand warmers and of course blankets. Like Project Christmas Comfort we coordinate a packing party to have them all packed into a large drawstring backpack, (that we collect or purchase), then deliver them directly to the homeless and to homeless organizations and shelters for distribution.
